I have read in the paper that you have changed the speed limit on the streets of Braintree. As you know French Ave is a cut off, which I know can not be stopped. But I was told only the Mayor can approve the signage for 25 miles an hour. My neighbor came over and was complaining about the speed some people are doing. He mentioned one particular car that has been flying up the street, he said too fast to get his number. I know the police dept. told us several years ago that unless there is a sign up there isn't much they can do about it. I have lived here 50yrs and it has always been a problem. You certainly are aware of this since you use to live on Holbrook Ave. Also it had been suggested that a stop sign at the corner of French Ave. and Washington Park be installed. I have come very close to getting hit there. Again it is because of speed. I would appreciate anything you can do to help slow some of these cars down. In the last couple of years we have had a lot of new young neighbors, who have small children. Very dangerous!!!
