I am not Carnac the Magnificent nor do I play him on TV, but I predict delinquents to pitch various and sundry items over the glass wall that is only a little taller than handrail height on unsuspecting T commuters using that entrance. Seriously, do architects ever consider how their designs will be used in “Real Life”? Did the MBTA (read: taxpayers pay for this)?

Poor drainage at entrance to Big Y parking lot. Customers have to walk through several inches of water to pass through. Can we get a permanent solution? Please.

The property owner is allowing water to discharge on the sidewalk, that it would create a dangerous and slippery condition for pedestrian users of the sidewalk. While it is annoying during periods of rain, it is dangerous when the temperatures fall below freezing.
  • 65-99 Derne Street Boston, Massachusetts - Beacon Hill
Crosswalks are needed because drivers on Derne street often ignore the two stop signs and coast through the intersection to turn left on to Hancock St. The right side of Derne street is currently under construction and not easily accessible.
Also why are cars allowed to park at the very rounded corner of Derne and Hancock Streets. It is still a corner so the cars block pedestrian access.

Broken glass near Wollaston child care
  • 511r Hancock Street Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
Is it Ground Hog Day? It seems as though every winter I need to bring this problem to someone's attention. This pedestrian path leading to the Hannaford shopping plaza is a complete hazard to the seniors and disabled who live in the area and who walk to the Hannaford for their groceries. As you can see from this night time (7 pm) photo, the lighting is not very good either. There is a large body of ice water in front of the entrance way that will soon be a block of ice that will become even more hazardous. At least someone has broken some of the fencing so you can duck into the shopping plaza and avoid the icy water. There must be a permanent solution to this problem. Who owns this parcel now that Body and Craft sold out to Rockland Trust?

  • 54-64 Beale Street Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
The traffic walk signal pole was knocked out of action a couple of weeks ago but we are still waiting for a replacement walk signal pole to be installed. There is no walk signal button on that side of the street -- the traffic pole located near Wollaston Wine & Spirits does not have a walk signal button because there is no crosswalk there. Beale Street is very busy with cars bombing down from Newport Ave. and drivers not paying attention to pedestrians.
  • 462-472 Highway 3a Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
Would it be possible for the DPW to remove snow surrounding traffic signal poles so that pedestrians can get a walk signal in order to safely cross Hancock St.? Specifically the crossing signals near Hannaford Supermarket and the North Quincy Post Office? Drivers don't pay attention to the fact that pedestrians are not able to access the signal button.

so please provide us with a clear sidewalk and path. This is the walking route for many mobile seniors in the area including Fenno House. You also need to be mindful of the ice melting from the roof line onto the sidewalk below, the sidewalk will become dangerously icy, at least put up warning signs.
  • 327 Cambridge Street Boston, Massachusetts - Beacon Hill
Please explain why pedestrians aren't able to have a walk signal in order to cross both roadways separating us from Charles Street and the Charles/MGH subway station? Right now we have to wait on the island for the light to change for the 2nd walk signal. As a result I observe numerous pedestrians too impatient to wait crossing the street even when traffic is bearing down on them. I can imagine the level of impatience grows as the weather turns inclement which is not a safe situation. Please program the lights so that all traffic stops for pedestrians to safely cross the streets.
  • Weston Ave And Chester Street Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
There is an area of broken glass located on Weston Ave close to the intersection with Chester Street. It appears to be windshield glass. Can that be removed before children in the Wollaston Child Care Center find it and try to pick it up?
  • Hancock And Willet Streets Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
The walk signal request button is not working, it is the one located on the corner of Willet and Hancock St. near the plumber and Leonardo's. It has not been working for a few weeks now.

Hannaford is happy to take our money, but they keep ignoring those local customers who walk to the store. Now we have to walk through 6 inches of icy water to get through the side entrance as well as skate on the ice patches. C'mon and help out your customers. For pictures for a similar lack of snow removal see this link https://seeclickfix.com/issues/856185

to those of us who want to walk down Weston Ave safely using the sidewalks that border their property. The lack of snow removal forces us to walk in the street which is not safe in the evening. Also they need to remember to clear the sidewalk adjoining both their property and the entrance to Wollaston Child Care. No one can safely walk on that section of sidewalk in its current state of solid ice. Thank you!!

There are so many Hannaford and Rite Aid customers who use this entrance but the sidewalks and walking path are poorly cleared. Please see photos.
  • 315 Cambridge St Ave Boston, MA - Beacon Hill
As I walk along Cambridge St this week I've noticed the same broken glass from a beer bottle located in the are of MGH MEEI. This would pose great harm to any service animals who are guiding their owners to their appointments. It should be removed and I'm disappointed that no one from either MGH or MEEI has saw fit to have this danger removed sooner.

these 4 lights have been out of service for quite some time now. I kept thinking someone with City Hall (right next door) would have reported this by now. ;-)
