21 Weston Avenue Quincy, Massachusetts - Quincy
Parking sign and pole were knocked down a couple of weeks ago and should be removed or reinstalled before the winter snows arrive and bury it.
  • 100 Grossman Drive Braintree, Massachusetts - Braintree
There is a large drop off along the sidewalk on Grossman Drive. Shouldn't there be a railing installed so that pedestrians aren't put at risk especially during the winter when the sidewalk is icy. It is one thing to fall on ice but another to fall and land in a concrete ditch.

that they chose to not completely clear their sidewalks to allow pedestrians to walk along Weston Ave without having to walk in the street? Not very neighborly.
  • 511r Hancock Street Quincy, MA - Quincy
I know it is still snowing, but please add this to the list... The sidewalk utilized by hundreds of local customers to reach Hannaford, including residents of Fenno House is extremely difficult to traverse -- even though the sidewalk along the store fronts is perfectly clear. Pedestrians are customers, too! Why do businesses seem to forget this time and time again?

I know it is still snowing, but can these items be added to the list. The fire hydrant at Hannaford is snow covered and the sidewalk utilized by hundreds of local customers to reach Hannaford, including residents of Fenno House is extremely difficult to traverse -- even though the sidewalk along the store fronts is perfectly clear. Pedestrians are customers, too!
  • 511r Hancock Street Quincy, MA - Quincy
I understand that it is still snowing out, but the snow plow keeping this area clear of snow has resulted in the fire hydrant being buried in snow which is quite dangerous.
  • 454 Hancock Street Quincy, MA - Quincy
This is a common problem when businesses have the equipment to clear their parking lots and the area directly in front of their entrances they don't consider the pedestrians who also need safe access.
  • 468-472 Hancock Street Quincy, MA - Quincy
Pedestrians trying to cross Hancock St to reach the Hannaford Supermarket shopping center do not have access to the crosswalk from the walk signal button. As a result pedestrians are walking in busy Hancock St.
  • 1 Linden Street Quincy, MA - Quincy
The sidewalks need to be cleared and also the traffic pole needs to be cleared so that there is a proper path for pedestrians to safely cross Hancock St.
  • 546 Hancock Street Quincy, MA - Quincy
The sidewalk area bordering the Fenno House needs to be properly cleared of snow. I"m surprised that it hasn't been done considering the residents are elderly.
  • 511r Hancock Street Quincy, MA - Quincy
I just returned from the Hannaford /Rite Aid and I was disappointed to see such disregard for the customers who spend thousands of dollars a week at the stores in that shopping center. There are many seniors and disabled shoppers who rely on that path to travel to those stores and now they have to endure walking through icey water (or when it is completely frozen, walk on ice and manage to squeeze between parked cars all because businesses were inconsiderate. Please have these businesses (including the auto body shop) clear away all the snow and ice water so that we have a safe walking path. Thank you!
  • 33 Weston Avenue Quincy, MA - Quincy
The Extra Space Storage facility parking lot has a large pile of snow at the edge of the entrance that is melting when the temperature warms up and the water runs down the driveway / sidewalk forming a sheet of ice. Too risky to walk across that so folks have to walk in the street.
  • 511r Hancock Street Quincy, MA - Quincy
I was told by the Hannaford manager that it was the property owner's responsibility to clear the snow from the sidewalks and not Hannaford's job even though they make a lot of money from customers who use this path to enter the Hannaford Store.
